BMO Partners with Panghat Entertainment for the Biggest Navratri Events: Rangtaali 2024 Featuring Gujarati Superstar Aishwarya Majmudar

In an exciting collaboration, BMO (Bank of Montreal), one of the biggest banks in Canada, has partnered with Panghat Entertainment to organize the grandest Navratri event named Rangtaali. This highly anticipated celebration will feature the sensational Gujarati Navratri superstar Aishwarya Majmudar from Kitchener and London. Adding to the event’s grandeur, BMO recently roped in Indian cricket legend Rohit Sharma, who led India to victory in the T20 Cricket World Cup, as their brand ambassador last month.

BMO is quickly becoming the bank of choice for Indian students and professionals in Canada, is leaving no stone unturned to solidify its presence and show unwavering support to the community. The partnership with Panghat Entertainment is a testament to BMO’s commitment to celebrating cultural diversity and connecting with the Indian diaspora.

We had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Jatin Mayani, the visionary Founder and Director at Panghat Entertainment Ltd. Hailing from Surat, Gujarat, India, and now a proud permanent resident of Canada, Mr. Mayani shared his inspiring journey. Passionate about Garba events, he always aspired to create something monumental in this space.

Mr. Mayani recounted his modest beginnings and the challenges faced while trying to organize events with the same artist and promoter, Yash Entertainment, since 2018. Being new in Canada, they struggled to secure a venue, making it difficult to host events initially. Despite these setbacks, they organized a modest event in 2022 without an artist due to financial constraints.

In 2023, Panghat Entertainment took a bold step by organizing three events, fully committing all their line of credit and savings. Although two of these events in London suffered significant losses due to low attendance, their persistence paid off with the success of Rangtaali featuring Aishwarya Majmudar. This event turned out to be the most premium Navratri celebration in Kitchener, setting the stage for an even bigger event this year.

Mr. Mayani emphasized the importance of looking forward, stating, “You cannot drive the car while looking at the rear-view mirror.” With ticket sales picking up this year, he expressed confidence in the future and a determination to keep moving forward. He also extended heartfelt gratitude to his wife, Shreya Kikani, for her constant support, and to his partner Deven Patel, along with friends who stood by him.

Mr. Mayani took a moment to acknowledge the individuals who have been instrumental in building Panghat Entertainment. Key contributors include Shrushti Parmar and Mayur Joshi. Friends who supported financing and volunteered their time and resources include Ashish Nakrani, Piyush Ghelani, Ketan Savaya, Navdeep Zalavadiya, Nawman Memon, Kathan Patel, Hardik Dhameliya, Prince Gangani, Gunjan Patel, Urvesh Patel, Ankit Bhalala, Parth Mavani, Jay Trivedi, Rohan Dhameliya, Chirag Pansuriya, Jaydeep Bhingradiya, Rinkal Diyora, Sheela Godhani, Urvi Banker, Priyank Patel, Nayan Mayani, Ashish Patel, Malay Virani, Shyam Paghdar, and Zankhan Patel. The unwavering support of these individuals has been the backbone of Panghat Entertainment’s success along with all the sponsors, enabling them to create memorable cultural events that resonate with the community.
